What began as a dream has grown into a family-run ranch focused on raising top-quality Angus cattle with faith, hard work, and a passion for agriculture.
At Double L, we’re committed to improving the Angus breed and sharing strong genetics with cattlemen across the U.S. and nutrient dense Grass- Fed beef from our family to yours. We do it all as a family—led by faith, fueled by love for the land, and driven by the desire to build a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Who is Double L Ranch?
We are Seth and Bryanna Pellman. Our ranch is located in Central Pennsylvania in the small town of Honey Grove. Our story begins with a cattleman and a horse girl that get married, go for their dreams of raising top-quality cattle, living off the land, raising our own meat, and raising a big family revolved around agriculture and running on faith.
Our goals are to grow nutrient dense beef that not only nourish our family, but yours as well. We also strive to offer top quality bulls and heifers while identifying the best genetics within the Angus breed and offer their offspring to the public, in hopes to have our own bull and heifer sales. We have a lot of faith in the Angus breed and care about “bettering” the breed by factoring in calving ease, temperament, early maturity, high carcass yield, milk production, marbling ability, and the list goes on. We hope to not only help our local cattlemen, but to share our building genetics all throughout the United States.
Our ranch is ran fully by my husband, our two young cowboys, and myself. We also have a cowgirl in training who is our youngest child. We are so thankful to be a part of the cattle industry with so many other great cattlemen. God has used cattle in more ways than we could have imagined which has made us stronger as individuals, as a family, and has created new friendships. We love the ranching way of life, but it is not a rich or easy lifestyle. Date nights may involve moving cattle around, but it is a life worth living and it is truly a passion for us. We do everything as a family and are led by our savior Jesus Christ. We thank him for this opportunity to work his land and build a generational farming business for our children and future generations to come.
Our Tallow Journey…
Our Tallow Journey started in 2020 when I wanted to make a clean moisturizer for our first child and family without all the toxic ingredients. I set out to restore the pioneer ways of motherhood, which led me to creating tallow products from our cattle. Double L Ranch has now been making not just tallow moisturizer, but many other luxurious tallow products and continue to do so.
Many brands source foreign suet… It’s very rare to find tallow that is made by the ranchers that produce the tallow! Our tallow comes from our cattle only. This allows us to confidently sell nutrient dense products!
